How to connect external Bluetooth and USB devices.
Overview
This guide describes the process to add a new external device either via Bluetooth or USB connection.
Process
Prerequisites
On App Setup
If setting up your Viva Terminal App for the first time, follow the setup steps onscreen until you reach the step for connecting external devices.
Post-app Setup
If your app is already set up, you can add new devices via the Settings menu, and the Hardware & local network sub-menu. Choose the device you wish to connect.
Bluetooth
Select Bluetooth as the connection method, then follow the on-screen steps to connect your device.
Mini Card Reader
- Select your device from the available options.
Pocket Card Terminal
- Select your device from the available options.
USB
Connect your mobile device to the target device with the USB cable. Select USB as the connection method, then follow the on-screen steps to connect your device.
