Preath transactions allow payment to be pre-authorised and collected using Tap on Phone.
If you wish to activate preAuth functionality in your terminals, please contact your Viva Wallet sales representative. Alternatively, you can contact us directly via our live chat facility, by simply clicking on the live chat icon in the bottom right-hand corner of this page.
Process
Choose Preauth from the dropdown menu on the Charge tab with the keypad. Enter the amount you would like to pre-authorise and press “Preauthorise”.
Press the card or payment device to the phone’s NFC scanner.
Choose to print or share a receipt once payment is complete or return to main screen.
