Viva Terminal App Update

Our Viva Terminal App will become available for update when a new version rolls out in the Google Play Store. A notification will appear when the application is opened for the first time after the update is available. The message will prompt you to update the application. You can click on the notification and it will automatically take you to the Google Play Store App screen where you can press the “Update” button.
We strongly recommend to activate the auto updates in android and for IOS, see below for more information.
Activation of Android Devices Auto Updates:
1.- On the Google Play Store click on the “G” icon at the top:
2.- From the Menu click on “Settings”:
3.- From the Menu click on “Network preferences”:
4.- From the drop down list click on “Auto-update apps”:
5.- From the options press on “Over Wi-Fi only”:
Activation of IOS Devices Auto Updates:
1.- On the iOS device go under settings and then tab on the “App Store”:
2.- On the App Store settings look for “App Updates” to be activate:
PAX (A910, A920, A80, IM30)
The update takes place automatically and is handled by Viva Wallet directly; regardless, if the terminal is connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet the updates are push automatically.
We strongly recommend to have the card terminals connected on Wi-Fi / Ethernet.
The software update for our Q30 takes place automatically and is handled by Viva Wallet directly. Keep in mind that our Q30 is Linux based so there is not an App store available for this terminal.
We strongly recommend to have the card terminals connected through LAN cable.
